Michael was our successful coach from 2003 through to the end of 2006. Listing all Michael's achievements as coach would take up too much space but it should be noted that with Michael at the steering wheel the Beijing Vikings won promotion to the 11-aside 1st Division, won the Summer Champions League, won the Indoor League, entered the Vikings Cup and signed great sponsorship deals with THE DEN and Hummel. Michael was deservedly awarded the 1st Division Manager of the Year title in 2005-06.
In December 2006 Michael relocated to Singapore.
It has been rumoured that the Singapore Vikings really (really really!) want their hands on the Vikings Cup Beer Trophy and for that purpose have hired Michael as coach to start a 9 month practice run. Although Michael was never even close to appearing in the Beijing Beer Drinking team line-up, we salute the efforts put in by the Singapore guys and wish them the best of luck!
