Purup has since his debut with the Vikings been playing a range of positions. Like many others, "Pu" first sold himself as a striker though within a year Coach realized that he had been playing left defence for most of his life.
Rule number 1: Always pass the ball to Jens - for some reason there is always a huge amount of space for him out on the left side.
Worth mentioning is that "Pu" holds the record of 3 red cards in one season, and for most shots in one game - 41!
